I have come to believe part of my purpose in this incarnation is to encourage people to consider walking a path guided by Spirit, in Light and in Love. Knowing and interacting with our Spirit Guides is the most provocative and exhilarating means of becoming aware of our connection and awake with our eyes wide open to take in the wonder of our shared and multifaceted luminous Light. In short, to Shine On!
The dilemma I have, is helping those searching to differentiate between all the stuff that they are finding! Years ago, when I first ventured on this path of the esoteric, I held absurd beliefs: that all disincarnate voices are wise and loving and truthful, that all psychics are of the Light, and that those who claim to be healers, mediums, psychics, readers, etc., are necessarily of the greater good and above ego. Quite the contrary! Those who are ego driven (incarnate or not) flourish in this environment. We eager seekers provide playmates in what is a virtual playground for the arrogant and low frequency beings!
So, how does one differentiate? Luckily, and I believe not haphazardly, there are a few bright and fluttering warning flags. Firstly, if a psychic claims to "always be right", their filter is one of ego, and their information is tainted, at the very least. If you are told what to do, how to do it, in an insistent, bossy way, this is in no way a high frequency being of Light! A true Spirit Guide, speaking directly or through a psychic, will never dominate or demand. Our Free Will is sacred, and a being of Light will nudge, and encourage, and GUIDE, but never, ever bulldoze. If the information is threatening, "you must do this, that, and the other thing, or something nasty will happen", that is so much manipulative malarky, and absolutely not the words of a Higher Frequency Being of Light and Love! Also, one who is guided by lower frequency beings will often plagiarize. Creativity by it's very nature, is of the highest frequency. A lower entity masquerading as a spirit guide has cut itself off from the Spirit of Creativity. Another sign of an ego based entity is the exhibition of worldly greed. Their desire to be acknowledged and admired is extreme, and demonstrates their lack of awareness of their connection to all that is. Phony guides will discuss monies. When an accounting of actual dollars and cents is discussed, you can be sure you've invoked something measly and greedy. A High Being, like a Spirit Guide will speak in broad, symbolic terms of abundance and prosperity and wealth, far beyond our currencies. As humans, we each have our own inner Daffy Duck ("I may be a coward, but I am a greedy little coward!"), but, if we are honest with our selves, we know when our duck is being stroked.
Keep in mind, that the psychic/ reader/channeller before you, may not be consciously aware that their guides are phonies. Question them to encourage them to question themselves and their alliance. That individual is suffering by the anguish of turning away from Light and Love. When questioned, they will likely become very agitated and defensive, broadcasting blame far and wide. Brace yourself, and keep at it, and you may heal the 'healer'. Turn a mirror on the display and allow the possibility for reflection and recognition.
Lastly, and most importantly, you will know the voice and presence of truth by the resonance of your own inner response. The vibration of a noble Spirit is palpable, and is One with our own highest vibration. Our heart chakras will glow and hum in an unmistakeable harmony. There is no mistaking when the connection is of Grace; it is certainty beyond doubt, and it is available to us all.

Their behaviour is very different from how a negative entity would behave or how your ego would talk to you. - Guidance from guides will always be uplifting and will raise your consciousness. It will honour the truth that you are the conscious creator of your life. It will hold you responsible for your life. By contrast, entities who align with negativity may have you believe that you need to do, have or be something in order to get to be the conscious creator of your life. They may encourage you to abdicate responsibility.
- Guides will not tell you what to do. They may recommend a course of action that aligns with your path, but they will ultimately leave it up to you.
- Guides obviously never get angry with you, or threaten. Guides do not deride or berate you. They are ever-patient and loving. Your guides may think you’re great but they won’t flatter your ego or encourage you to place yourself above others. The guides understand that none of these serve their agenda or yours.
- Spirit Guides have faith in your ability to get through issues and negative circumstances. They will be there for you and show great compassion for you, but they won’t ever throw you a pity party.
